Meet Our Staff
Vice President of Operations
Jeff brings nearly 20 years of senior management experience to Post Masters. Jeff oversees industrial business lines including Post Masters, with multiple locations processing over 100 million pieces of mail annually; Blue Octopus Printing Company, a commercial print line of business; DOMA Document Solutions of Indiana, a document conversion company; and Highway Safety Specialists, a manufacturer and distributor of highway safety products throughout the country. In addition, Harris has responsibility over AWRC Industries work centers where individuals with disabilities produce light assembly products. He also oversees facilities management and ground maintenance of all Benchmark commercial properties.
Before joining Benchmark in 2007, Harris managed customer service and quality control teams at a Fortune 500 company. Harris holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, and an MBA from IIT. Off the clock, Harris enjoys spending time with his family, relaxing at the lake, working on home improvement projects, and rooting on the Boilermakers during football and basketball seasons.
Director of Operations
Joe McKinney has extensive experience in the print and mail industry. Before joining Post Masters, he worked for one of the largest print and mail vendors in the state for 10 years, serving as plant manager for the last seven. He was a litho off-set printer for five years prior to that. McKinney studied mechanical engineering at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
McKinney serves as Director for Post Masters Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, Blue Octopus Printing Company and DOMA Document Solutions of Indiana. He says he was drawn to the job because he loves the industry, but also because the organization hires people with disabilities. “I love having the opportunity to be part of a company that makes a real difference in people’s lives,” he said.
Off the clock, McKinney coaches girls’ youth basketball. He is an avid Pacers and Colts fan and a “pitiful” Cubs fan. He loves hip-hop music and Batman. He and his wife, Amanda, have five children.
Andy Baden recently returned to Post Masters after an 11-year hiatus. Baden originally worked for the company from 1995–1999, and returned in 2010 as Project Manager/Production Supervisor supporting many of our technical needs.
During his time away, Baden worked as Sorting Manager for Direct Group, Director of Operations for Harte Hanks Baltimore Targeted Mail and Production Supervisor for Mailing Services of Pittsburgh. He also is a factory trained sorter technician for Bell + Howell, National Presort Inc. and PTI/Lockheed Martin.
Baden loves working at Post Masters because he enjoys all of the wonderful people and the sense of accomplishment he gets when a project is done well and on time.
Baden and his wife, Maritza, have two sons, Kenny and Michael. His love for aviation led him to obtain his private pilot’s license in 1992.
Data Services Manager
As Data Services Manager for Post Masters, Todd Staszak performs database conversions, works with mailing list certification and specialized application development, and is responsible for staying on top of the United States Postal System regulations to ensure Post Masters is meeting current standards and preparing for new rules before they take affect.
A 16-year veteran of the organization, Staszak is a certified Mailpiece Design Professional and has worked in computer programming for 30 years. He cites the two p’s as his favorite thing about Post Masters – working with great people to deliver a great product.
Outside of work, Todd is active in local theater. Among his favorite roles are the Police Sergeant in "Pirates of Penzance", and Howie in the Indiana premiere of David Lindsay-Abaire's Pulitzer Prize winning play "Rabbit Hole".
Jeff Birnell works as Production Manager for Post Masters’ Indianapolis operations. He has been with the company for over nine years.
Before joining the Post Masters team, Birnell worked as Production Manager for Kirby Risk, overseeing the department that built electrical harnesses for Caterpillar equipment.
Birnell loves the work he does at Post Masters and he says that the best part of his job is getting to work with such a great team of people each day.
At home, Birnell trades the people for pets. He has four “ornery” dogs, Blake, Bryce, Benjamin and Bruiser, who he says take him on walks. Birnell loves the outdoors and enjoys camping.
Customer Relations Coordinator
Leslie Armstrong, Customer Relations Coordinator for Post Masters in Fort Wayne, wants to ensure that our team not only meets, but exceeds the satisfaction of all customers.
Armstrong has worked in insurance and risk management for over 21 years and applies her significant experience in accounting, accounts payable/receivable and customer service by working with our accounting department to ensure effective billing systems. She also serves as the point of contact for our existing customers to assist with customer service support as well as assist with coordination of new projects.
Certified as a Mailpiece Design Professional (MDP), Armstrong is trained and certified in how to design mail to enhance its compatibility with U.S. Postal Service automated equipment as well as how to achieve the lowest possible postage prices through automation.
When Armstrong is not at work she enjoys spending time with her husband, Randy, hanging out with her nephew, Austin and niece, Madison, and also with her beloved dogs: Bud, Vlad, Daddy and Maggie. Armstrong is the Vice President of the Fort Wayne Pit Bull Coalition and works in animal rescue when not on the job.
Customer Service Manager
Teresa started with Post Masters as an Account Coordinator in July 2011 and moved to Customer Service Manager now overseeing the Account Coordinator and the scheduling and coordinating of projects with the Production Management Team. She spends a great deal of time building Post Masters current customer relationships while also developing potential new customers for the multiple lines of business. Recently, Teresa has taken on responsibility overseeing DOMA Document Solutions of Indiana, a new line of business for AWRC.
Before joining Post Masters, Teresa gained over 20 years of experience in customer service and management mainly in the restaurant industry but also in Geothermal Technologies and Property Management. She received her Bachelors in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University and once joining the Post Masters team received her MDP, Mailpiece Design Professional, thru the USPS.
Teresa and her husband, Brad, have three adorable daughters, Gianna, Josafina and Nathalia. She spends a lot of time in what she calls “the pink world”, which is full of Barbie dolls, Disney princesses, fairies, American Girl dolls, dress up clothes and lots of giggles and smiles. She loves music and has seen her favorite band, U2, in concert over 80 times, the first being in 1987 at what was the Indianapolis Hoosier Dome.
